College students rejoice, Seattle Met reports a new tech-friendly cafe coming to the U District at 1116 NE 47th Street. Bean Coffee Lounge, as it will be called, has iPads installed at most tables as well as chargers for various smart phones. Laptop chargers and USB cables will also abound.

Thai Curry Simple is reportedly searching for a new location, while Cobra Lounge's co-owner Erin Cobb reports that there will not be a new location for the hookah-joint.
