Hey, we hate to interrupt while you're filling out our annual Best of Seattle ballot, agonizing over how you'll make so many important decisions by next Thursday's deadline. But should you need relief from the torture of choosing between Heaven Sent and Ma'ono in the fried chicken category, or the philosophizing that the prospect of yet another Best Doughnut win for Top Pot provokes, we hope you'll allow yourself a quick break to buy tickets to our Best of Seattle blowout on Aug. 1.
The Best of Seattle party, which benefits Northwest Harvest, will celebrate the hundreds of Best of Seattle winners and the thousands of readers who submit ballots. The Pier 66 party will feature music from The D'Vonne Lewis Quartet and The Sweet Hereafter's Jesse Sykes and Phil Wandscher.
Event tickets are $30, but a $65 VIP tickets buys a swag bag, early entry and admission to a VIP lounge. The party runs from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, the day our Best of Seattle issue hits the streets. You can buy tickets here.
Alright, everyone back to work. But if you need incentive to get every category completed (or at least the five needed to validate your ballot), just remember your carrot - or, if you prefer, your lavender-glazed purple heirloom carrot - lies right this way.
