Iconic French restaurant Chez Shea at 94 Pike St. is closing after nearly 30 years, according to Seattle PI. Moving into the upstairs space will be Bainbride Island-based roaster and mail-order coffee business Storyville Coffee Company,

In other news, Rainier Valley Post reports that two new African restaurants are now up and running. Afrikando Banadir at 5212 Rainier Ave. S. serves both authentic East and West African cuisine, while Teranga Senegalese Restaurant serves Sengalese food at 4903-1/2 Rainier Ave. S.
