The Digs: Located in West Seattle off the Morgan Junction and California Ave., the Feedback Lounge is stuffed with rock memorabilia and plays with contemporary design accents.
Feedback has a neighborhood bar feel where you'll find comfortable locals hanging out for music trivia and shooting the breeze.
The Deal: The food is the draw at Feedback's happy hour. Entrees come in at $5 and $6 and are well executed takes on traditional bar munchies. The pulled pork sliders have a light, homemade, tangy sauce and are tastefully topped with creamy slaw. The steak tacos are a surprising standout as they are prepared perfectly medium well. The in-house hummus is fresh and spicy with the help of a little Cayenne pepper. For those who forgo meat, four of the six HH menu items are vegetarian friendly. Feedback doesn't offer a drink discount-- Nevertheless, as a premium cocktail will only run you about $7, you will still find it a bargain.
The Verdict: From its subtle exterior and non descript location; you wouldn't imagine Feedback to be the award wining of center of Mixology it is. A frequent finalist in the Best of Western Washington drink competition, concoctions like their semi-signature cocktail the Red Rickey (House-infused Vodka, Cucumber, Lime, Ginger Syrup, Soda) and stellar bar food selections make the bus ride on the 54 from downtown well worth it.
