Here's hoping Brouwer's burgers make an appearance at The Publican.
The Publican will debut in the former Bandolero space at 2253 N. 56th St. by the end of this year, according to Wallyhood.org. Run by Brouwer's Cafe owner Matt Bonney, the establishment will have a strong focus on American microbrews, featuring 22 beers on tap and several bottles. It will also have a full bar, and a kitchen serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
In other news, My Ballard reports that a self-serve frozen yogurt shop called YOZEN is scheduled to open at 2038 N.W. Market St. by Thanksgiving.
