    First off, in Ballard, a self-serve frozen yogurt shop called YOZEN is scheduled to open at 2038 N.W. Market St. by Thanksgiving.

    In the Central District, the folks behind beloved neighborhood bar the Twilight Exit are opening a vegetarian bar and grill (with some meat options) called The Neighborhood Lady at 2308 E. Union St. Expect a mid-to-late February opening.

    Downtown, Dulces Bistro and Wine is now open in the former Typhoon! space at 1404 Western Ave. downtown. Previously a beloved restaurant in Madrona that went by Dulces Latin Bistro, the new space offers the same Latin and Mediterranean-influenced menu but has more seating. It will also host tastings and private dining events.

    In Magnolia, The Highliner Tavern has gotten a makeover and reopened as the Highliner Pub & Grill at 3909 18th Ave. W. in Magnolia. It now features 15 beers on tap and grub like burgers, fish and chips, and wings. Several televisions have also been installed.

    In Queen Anne, New York Pizza & Bar is now open at 600 Mercer St. Run by Ed Grandpre, who spent 12 years at Canlis developing its wine program, the restaurant specializes in East Coast-style thin-crust pizza made with beer and brushed with olive oil.

    Over in Wallingford, The Publican will debut in the former Bandolero space at 2253 N. 56th St. by the end of this year. Run by Brouwer's Cafe owner Matt Bonney, the establishment will have a strong focus on American microbrews, featuring 22 beers on tap and several bottles. It will also have a full bar, and a kitchen serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    Lastly, in West Seattle, cake and cupcake specialty shop Stuffed Cakes is up and running at 9003 35th Ave. S.W. in West Seattle.
