    First off, big news for Bellevue: A second installment of über-popular burger eatery Lunchbox Laboratory is opening at 989 112th Ave. N.E. Eastsiders can expect to see it open in December. Also in the neighborhood: In other news, Peaks Frozen Yogurt Bar is now open at 15600 N.E. Eighth St. in Bellevue. The newest addition to the Crossroads Mall offers a variety of self-serve flavors, including angel food cake, cheesecake, and honey lavender.

    Back in Seattle, on Capitol Hill, Bako is slated to begin serving modern Cantonese cuisine at 606 Broadway E. on Capitol Hill come the first week of October. Bako--Chinese for "white peach blossoms"--features both family-style and small dishes, as well as an extensive cocktail menu.

    In Queen Anne, The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits is opening its first Seattle location in The Maxwell Hotel at 300 Roy St. in Queen Anne by the end of this year. The expansion doesn't stop there. The rock 'n' roll-themed pizza parlor, founded in Tacoma, plans to open to 30 new eateries across the country.

    And, lastly, in West Seattle, Pan African Grill is expected to open in the former Ho Win Chinese Restaurant space at 5905 California Ave. S.W. this week. The venture, run by the owner of Pike Place Market-based eatery Pan Africa Restaurant and Bar, will feature traditional East African and Ethiopian dishes, as well as several vegan options.
