The Confectional is now "officially" open on Capitol Hill
Pritty Boys Family Pizzeria is here to stay. The new Madrona restaurant began regular hours this past Saturday and will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, according to Central District News.
reported that Proletariat Pizza in White Center will now be open Sundays. The weekend sun also welcomed The Confectional to its Capitol Hill location at 618 Broadway E. during their official opening on Saturday. The new location will serve coffee as well as a limited-time passion-fruit cheesecake, according to Eater Seattle.
Sadly, the weekend didn't shine so brightly for Olives wine bar in Edmonds. Owner Michael Young finally caved to economic hardship and increased competition, regretfully closing the doors of the restaurant for good on Saturday, according to The Seattle Times.
The owners of Spinasse and new "Italian aperitivo bar" Artusi, which was set to open on Capitol Hill this past Saturday, unfortunately spent the weekend repairing plumbing instead of welcoming customers, reported Seattle Met. The bar is now set to open Monday June 6 at Pine and 14th.
