Best of Seattle® Reader Poll: Vote Online for Your Favorite Food, Drink, Places, & Faces"/>
Every year for the past 25, we've striven to make our annual Best of Seattle® issue as democratic as possible. Hence, while in our August 3 issue we will bestow the title of "Best (Fill in the Blank)" on over 300 deserving people, places, and not-easily-pigeonholed entities, the 88 categories you'll find here are the ones we've determined to be truly of the people, by the people, and for the people . . . to vote on!
In the interest of reducing our collective carbon footprint, we encourage you to vote online at seattleweekly.com/bos2011. Be sure to declare your personal winner in at least five of the categories, and we'll need your name, zip code, and e-mail address (which will be purged upon tallying) to ensure authenticity. We also ask that you only vote once--just like in actual elections in cities not named Chicago.
Among the many categories that will be of interest to Voracious readers are: best breakfast, best burger, best bagels, best sushi, best diner, best Indian restaurant, best dim sum, best grocery store, best hot dog, best ice-cream parlor, best bartender, best outdoor drinking, best fried chicken, best beer selection in a restaurant, and best pizza other than lifetime BOS® winner Pagliacci.
Voting ends Tuesday, July 19. May the Best of Seattle® win! (Funny, they always seem to.)
