Gossip Girl Season 4 Finale: A Themed Menu for Your Viewing Party Tonight!

Whom will Blair choose tonight?
Tonight marks the hotly anticipated finale of the fourth season of Gossip Girl on CW--a show as addictive and convoluted as a daytime soap opera, but with far superior lighting and makeup. The questions still left unanswered are gripping: Will Blair really choose the prince over Chuck? Will Dan continue his incestuous dating streak by hooking up his mentally unstable second cousin? Will Nate (for the love of God) do something remotely interesting besides look pretty?

Here at SW, a select few of us have a major weakness for the series, tuning in each week to watch the scandal and sexcapades that make up the lives of these privileged 20-somethings on the Upper East Side. And so it only makes sense for us to throw a party in honor of tonight's finale, complete with a GG-themed menu, explained in detail below. Fellow fans, feel free to use it as inspiration. (P.S. My bet is on Chuck Bass coming through at the end and reuniting with Blair! )

Amuse-bouche: Taylor (Momsen) Shellfish. Washington-based company Taylor Shellfish Farms grows and ships clams, mussels, and oysters. Inspired by angst-ridden teen Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen, these tasty seafood eats make only a small appearance on the menu because the actress has all but disappeared from the show, instead focusing on her, erm, music career.

Salad: (Blair) Waldorf Salad. Named after New York's Waldorf Hotel, where it was first made, this small plate is so Blair. The sliced apple and celery bites are refreshing, just like her bluntness, and the walnuts as nutty as her constant scheming to ensure she remains atop the Upper East Side Food Chain. And really, anyone who rocks the clothes Blair does surely can't be eating much more than salads anyway.

Entrée: Choice of grilled sea (Chuck) bass or Sloppy Joes made with ground chuck (Bass). Who else but Chuck Bass could inspire the main course at a GG-themed dinner party? The brooding billionaire's antics, whether they be shallow (doing copious amounts of drugs and sleeping with Thai hookers) or serious (searching for his birth mother) are what keep the show interesting.

Dessert: New York Cheesecake. Duh. Gossip Girl is based and filmed in N.Y. An obvious--but delicious!--choice.

Drink: Sparks. Sure, we could've gone with the Manhattan. But malt alcohol that can be bought at the gas station makes much more sense when you consider the inspiration behind it: Georgina Sparks, the classless troublemaker who makes things worse wherever she goes and who lied to Dan about being her baby's father. Scheduled to make an appearance in tonight's finale, we will take a swig of Sparks anytime she pisses us off--which is sure to be a lot.
