Win a Seat at the Voracious' Judges Table

If you're a food critic trying to hang on to your last shreds of anonymity, judging the Chef Showdown competition at Seattle Weekly's Voracious Tasting and Food Awards requires an elaborate disguise. But all civilian eaters need to join the panel is a cell phone and a bit of luck.

Ticket holders to tonight's event can text Voracious to 41055 to be entered in the "Verizon Wireless Text to Become a Judge!" contest. One entrant will be chosen at random to serve as the fourth judge for the secret-ingredient showdown, pitting defending champion Seth Caswell of Emmer & Rye against Rachel Yang of Revel and Joule. The winner will be selected during the event, so aspiring judges should keep their phones handy for a call from event organizers.

Here's the fine print: You must be 21 or older. You must be present to win (because, really, knowing you won and missed the opportunity to critique incredible food is no kind of prize). And you can find more details here.

The lines are open. Good luck.
