Charlestown's famous New England-style clam chowder.
Blame it on the economy. Charlestown Street Café at 3800 California Ave. S.W. closes this Sunday, April 3, after a 30-plus-year run, according to West Seattle Blog. The beloved neighborhood eatery was best known for its award-winning New England-style clam chowder.
In other news, Capitol Hill Seattle reports that another Internet cafe is taking over the former Online Coffee Company space at 1720 E. Olive Way. Online Café is under different ownership, but serves the same coffee as its predecessor.
