In Ballard, the minds behind Moshi Moshi are debuting a self-described dive bar called Harlow at 5200 Ballard Avenue. If the licensing process goes smoothly, the drinks should start flowing before month's end.
Over on Capitol Hill are two new sandwich options: Ballard-based, East Coast-style sandwich business The Other Coast Cafe has added a second store at 721 East Pike Street, and bakery-cafe chain Panera Bread opened its new store at 1620 Broadway Avenue on Tuesday.In Fremont, a new micro-distillery called Fremont Mischief is scheduled to open at 132 North Canal Street by the end of this year.
Green Lake is gaining Parisian-style eats at 7119 Woodlawn Avenue Northeast, courtesy of the second installation of Queen Anne-based Cafe Bonjour. The opening date is to be decided.
And lastly, the West Seattle Triangle will become home to an organic, vegan restaurant. The owners of University District-based Chaco Canyon Organic Café hope to open restaurant no. 2 by April of next year.
