Dante's Inferno...Pretzels?

Wait 'til you see my dough.
Dante Rivera of Dante's Inferno Dogs is getting into the pretzel business. If everything goes accordingly, he just might launch a pretzel cart at the Ballard Farmers Market October 24 (emphasis on the might).

Dante is going to sell pretzels? Yes. Pretzels.

Rivera says he should be 'solid' for his pretzel test run at a private event later this week. To help him along, he has teamed up with Heavenly Pastry & Cake in West Seattle for their classic German pretzels, but is tweaking the menu a bit to include jalapeno cheddar and bacon-wrapped. For those classic pretzels, Dante will be using toppings like ball park and yellow mustard, Heavenly's pub mustard, Nutella Chocolate and Reese's Peanut Butter.

Dante's Inferno Dogs will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary this month. Obviously, the man knows a thing or two about growing his business, even if it means branching out into a new market.
