Craftsmanship takes time. We appreciate that. That's why we're extending the deadline of our homebrew competition from August 15 to August 30. Whether you've been delayed by your stubborn perfectionism or just distracted by sampling your own creation, all you amateur artisans still have a shot at getting your ale on tap for a month at Brouwer's Café, as well as having four kegs of your beer brewed by Big Al Brewing.
Just stop by one of three dropoff locations--Mountain Homebrew in Kirkland, 99 Bottles in Federal Way and the Cellar Homebrew in Greenwood--and submit three 10 ounce or larger bottles with recipes attached and a $15 check made out to Seattle Weekly. Entries may not be brewed in commercial facilities. An awards ceremony will be held October 23 at Brouwer's.
