Longtime patrons of Gregg's Profanity Hill Grill (1413 14th Ave) who didn't stop by last night may be cursing themselves. Thursday was the gay piano bistro's final night, Capitol Hill Seattle reports. Profanity Hill formerly called itself Martin's Off Madison--it underwent an identity overhaul just a month ago,
switching to more casual, inexpensive food.
Fans of the confusingly-named Tako Truk, which had no truck and served no conventional tacos, rejoice. The owners of the intentionally short-lived food stand are moving into the space Sostanza occupied until Monday, when the Madison Park trattoria closed with little warning, the Seattle Times' All You Can Eat blog reports. Cormac Mahoney and Bryan Jarr say their new endeavor won't be a Tako Truk, but it will open in a couple months or so.
