Seafood lovers, rejoice! The 36th Annual Ballard SeafoodFest hits Seattle this weekend. You can stuff yourself silly with alder-smoked salmon, coleslaw, and garlic bread ($9) at the annual salmon barbecue, then tackle bacon-wrapped scallops, calamari tacos, shrimp gumbo, fried oyster po'boys, and more in a food court featuring 20-plus vendors. Or, you can booze it up in the beer and wine gardens, then enter the Lutefisk Eating Contest. Whichever route you decide to take, you're sure to get your fill of seafood, possibly for the rest of summer.
