Morning Food News: 5 Spot Brings Back Its 1990 Menu (and Prices!)

Happy 20th Birthday, 5 Spot!
Beloved Queen Anne restaurant 5 Spot turns 20 this month, according to Queen Anne View. To celebrate, it will pull out its original 1990 placemat menu and offer food items at their original 1990 prices for three days, starting Tuesday, May 18 and ending Thursday, May 20 (Drinks remain at 2010 prices.)

Longtime regulars may recognize some of the selections being brought out of retirement for the occasion, including the Andouille Sausauge Sandwich with fries ($5.75) and Bourbon Street Chicken with mashed sweet potatoes ($9.25). Ah, the taste of nostalgia...

Happy Birthday, 5 Spot!
