This just in from Eater.com: How do you know when you've made it as a cultural icon? When your name shows up as an answer on the game show Jeopardy. How do you know when you're not just an icon, but a force to be reckoned with? When you have your own motherfucking category.
On the April 8 episode of Jeopardy, the James Beard Foundation had its moment in the sun as a category during Double Jeopardy, sandwiched in there among "sounds," something about Presidents and, I don't know... Noises a cow makes, maybe?
I'm not a huge fan of Jeopardy and, honestly, I don't think I've ever seen an entire episode. But I was still curious enough to watch the video (courtesy of Eater and Delights and Prejudices) and see how I stacked up, backwards-knowledge-wise. Think you're smarter than the contestants faced with these questions answers? Then click through to the video and see how you fare.
