Vegans, shield your eyes for this one. Pike Place Market hosts the 2010 Washington State BBQ Championship this Sunday, April 18 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. More than 30 cooks will compete to qualify for nationals, grilling up pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket starting the night prior. Pike Place shoppers can chat with contestants, score barbecue tips, and buy sandwiches. Just don't bring your car; the Market street will be closed to vehicles all weekend.
