"Sing for your supper" sounds great, but is largely a cliche. Occasionally, touring bands will get a free pre-show meal at a venue where they're set to perform, but that's about as far as the phrase typically gets in practice.
Enter Endolyne Joe's: On December 10, the West Seattle eatery will continue its tradition of letting customers sing for their supper (the event dovetails with when the restaurant's rotating regional menu lands on an Italian theme). If they're good, they get a significant discount on their meal. If they're bad, they may have to pay an additional fee.The jury? The kitchen staff, naturally. So start practicing if you want to knock several dollars off your gnocchi.
