Monday Morning Announcements: Skillet Out (Mostly) for the Winter, Market Mac, Mickey Detecting Gloss

Skillet Out - After determining the cost-to-benefit of winter business for the trailer doesn't make sense, Skillet will take a sort of hiatus this winter, effective this week. They will still do their box lunch service and cater events. They will show up for a few, select locations, if certain criteria can be met. So if you can pinkie swear to empty the office into the parking lot, they'll show up. The company also has a restaurant in the works and a few plans up their sleeves. Check out Skillet's website for the full announcement.

Most Depressing Innovation in Makeup to Date - (via Gizmodo) UK company 2 Love My Lips has released a lip gloss that contains discreet test strips to test for the chemicals GHB and Ketamine in a drink. The gloss will be available in the states soon. If you know a single gal, please consider buying her a taser for the holidays instead.

Mac Attack - The Tasting Room has brought back their Mac-n-Cheese Mondays, made with cheese from market neighbor Beecher's. No silly truffles or other Iron Chef-esque embellishments, just an indecent level of awesome, sharp, as-local-as-it-gets fromage. The mac is available starting at 5:00 p.m. until it runs out.
