The 14th annual Pike Place Market Sunset Supper turns the Market's cobblestone streets into a long line of booths providing tastes from over 40 restaurants--all to raise money for the Market's human service agencies, such as the medical clinic and food bank. Heavy hitters like Canlis, Campagne, The Hunt Club, Spinasse, and Wild Ginger will serve bites alongside tastes from 40 wineries including Waterbrook, Red Sky Winery, and Zerba cellars. If wine's not your thing, several breweries will also participate (Pyramid, Redhook, and Alaskan Brewing Company, for example), and there'll be cocktails from the likes of Absolut, Malibu, and Skyy. Alcohol-free beverages include Dry Soda or Starbucks. There will also be live music and a raffle. If you just want in and don't care where you sit, it's $85. If you don't want to spend precious eating and drinking time hunting for a seat, it's $125. For a VIP kind of night, it'll be $165, which includes early admission, free parking, guaranteed seating, wine and water on your table, and a volunteer concierge to do your bidding. brownpapertickets.com. 7:30-11 p.m. Fri., Aug. 14.
