Restaurant Openings: Plum, Full Tilt, and Another Plate of Pastrami

Queen Anne is the, uh, hot neighborhood of the week, with two new restaurants opening in the near future. KwaTay, a Ghanaian restaurant, is set to open August 8 on First Avenue. And from the owner of Peso's, Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge will have a menu inspired by the New Orleans' French Quarter. As of now, opening is set for Labor Day.

Meanwhile, White Center's Full Tilt Ice Cream opened its second store on the main strip of Columbia City, reports the Rainier Valley Post. Eat ice cream, drink beer, and play Centipede all in one place.

Makini Howell, owner of Hillside Quickies Café, has opened a new vegan restaurant on Capitol Hill, Plum, in the old Café Stellina location.

Also, I Love New York, the tiny Market stall that our Chris Kornelis just named Seattle's best place to get a plate of pastrami, just opened a second location this week in the U District, taking over the old Continental Deli space on 52nd and Roosevelt. (Watch the video if you're eager to hear Nancy Leson shriek.)
