Shit, I'm going to have to move. Between Marination, the baked goods at Oddfellows and now CHICKEN and @#$%er $#%&ing WAFFLES on Capitol Hill, I'll have to relocate to the other side of the city or invest in some mumus.
I talked to Marcus Lalario last night about his new project, Captain Black's, which will occupy a small bungalow just around the corner from the Stumbling Monk on Boylston Avenue East. The little house will have a front and back patio with plenty of outdoor seating. Marcus plans to serve chicken and waffles, po' boys, and deep fried Beechers' cheese nuggets. There were more menu items, but that's all I heard. Anyone who's ever been to Roscoe's House of Chicken-n-Waffles in L.A. is no doubt doing the Snoopy dance right now. Expect Captain Black's to open the first week of June. Anybody know of a one bedroom in Ballard?
