It’s everywhere, this stuff, and the jury is still out if it’s better (or worse) for you than cooked food. The word is enzymes, folks, and a certain in-house expert tells me that your body digests (yes, breaks down) all proteins (i.e. enzymes) regardless of the state they arrive in. This class, “The Beautifying Effects of a Raw Food Diet,” explores just such issues: anti-aging, vital health enzymes, digestion, food combining, and raw food nutrition. On the menu: seasonal fruit pie, fettuccini Alfredo, living Caesar salad, and (raw?) breadsticks.
