This weekend is the second annual Food Lust, an on-farm gala dinner, sponsored by Cascade Harvest Coalition, featuring local farmers, chefs, and country-bluegrass band Junkyard Jane. Farmers will be in attendance at this Fall City Farm event (just 25 miles east of Seattle), as will chefs from the Stumbling Goat, the Pink Door, and Earth & Ocean, among others. $75. 5 p.m. Fall City Farm, 3636 Neal Rd., 227-3000. Saturday, June 2 & Sunday, June 3

Celebrating Pike Place Market's 100th birthday, the Centennial Street Festival kicks off with—this being the Year of the Pig—Pigs on Parade, with porcine artworks (love 'em or hate 'em), and cooking demos by such chefs as the Herbfarm's Jerry Traunfeld and Volterra's Andrew Gribbs. There will be a wine garden, a beer garden, a variety of musical performers, and Strut Your Mutt, the second annual dog parade. $1 suggested donation benefits the Market Foundation. 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday.
