Today's LA Times food section has an article (warning: registration required) by Regina Schrambling on regional airport food.
Apparently, airports around the nation are downscaling the Sbarro's and Chili's that dominate their food courts and bringing in stands that sell local delicacies—bourbon balls in Louisville, brats in Milwaukee.
Schrambling mentions the cranberry vinaigrette she had shipped from Kathy Casey's Dish D'Lish stand at Sea-Tac. But Kathy Casey can't be the only only-in-Seattle stand at the airport. Are there any other local-food stalls you always hit before you fly out of town? (Ivar's fish and chips doesn't count. Or at least I hope it doesn't.)
