As summer approaches, there are more and more places to shop for fresh, local produce. Farmers' Markets are opening all over town. This week marks the opening day at several markets.
The Federal Way Farmers' Market opens Saturday, May 12, and is open Saturdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the SeaTac Mall Sears parking lot, 320th and Pacific Highway, through October 27. The Broadway Farmers' Market opens this Sunday, May 13, and runs Sundays 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at 10th Avenue East and East Thomas Street, through November 11. The Bellevue Farmers' Market opens Thursday, May 17, 3 -7 p.m., at 1717 Bellevue Way N.E., First Presbyterian Church Parking Lot, and operates Thursdays though October 11.
