Olympia-based Lyden Shellfish will be on the boob tube next week, on an installment of "America's Heartland" (episode #215), a show featuring our nation's diverse agribusiness. Tune into KCTSD2 on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. ET to catch Laurra Lyden-McGregor talk about the business of bringing Manila clams and Pacific oysters to market. McGregor is the grandaughter of the company's founders and knows all about the harvesting process, which takes place at night during the fall and winter months.
