Two doors down from my favorite language escuela, Seattle Language Academy (just off the Burke-Gilman in Fremont), is the brand new Canal Street Coffee. It's a former house that's now painted in yellow and raspberry sherbet tones. Inside, the space is super clean and white. They serve Bellingham-based Tony's coffee and, as of yesterday, the usual array of pastries. The art on display was funky/cool and I loved the salvaged train announcement board upon which the drink options were written.
