People carry weapons openly all the time, and we never think twice, so long as they wear police or guard uniforms. But let a person in civilian clothes do the exact same thing, and people panic. That's absurd!

We should take the preamble to the 2nd Amendment a lot more seriously: a well-regulated ( that is, a trained ) militia [is] necessary to the security of a free state. If we do not rely upon ordinary people to defend the State, if we actually discourage peaceful carrying of weapons, then we no longer have a free state.

We have, instead, a Police State. That's scary.

No civilian needs to openly carry a firearm nor does the Constitution guarantee them this right.

How inadequate a person must be to feel the need to carry a gun.

Why is it that people who don't agree with something like the right to keep and bear arms always go for the cheap shots? If you want to make choices for yourself based on your own willful ignorance, fine, but don't expect the rest of us to fall in behind you just because you don't like (or understand) something.

THATS THE LAST TIME i'm crossing the boarder up there.... why would u have a "armed" litter patrol.... if i though a napkin out the window are they going to start shooting... and ya i understand concealed weapons permits.. u have to be registered and all that stuff and it doesn't raise panic but come on.... litter patrol... civilians .. open guns.. no bueno... and some gangster just has to get on one of these to wreak havoc.

Citizens have the RIGHT to carry if they so choose. If open carry was not legal then there could be no requirement for a license to carry concealed.

This issue is not about penis size. This is a rights issue. Any idiot can make the exercising of rights seem to be about penis size. Make model of car is one, running a radio network, buying a large latte, and more.

If you are a liberal idiot who does not understand that citizens have rights and will exercise those rights then you need to leave this country period. At least wear T-shirts proclaiming that you are unarmed and believe that everyone should be also. It makes it easier for the criminals to do there jobs and then guns owners will know not to help you.

I would love to know where you had the signs made up. I always open carry and tend to get a 30-50% hit rate for officers detaining me. I'd love for us to have a sign like that when we perform an open carry litter clean up!
