Seems ridiculous to take anything from an openly law abiding citizen because someone fears something different.
"Obviously someone carrying an open handgun in an urban environment is a concern to us. It is very unusual for us to find someone carrying open," says Sgt. John Urquhart, spokesperson for the King County Sheriff's Office. "Any call we get about a person carrying a handgun openly, deputies will contact that person and, depending on circumstances, may or may not take the gun away for safety reasons." Take the gun away for safety reasons? If its not contraband there is no authority for the deputy to take the gun without due process. If its not illegal for this person to posses the gun, there is no legal reason to take the gun.
Sounds like a good policy to me
Wow, Kelly, you managed to get both your woefully ignorant interpretation of the Bill of Rights AND a juvenile penis reference worked into your comment. Most people of your ilk only manage to get one worn-out talking point out there before the mouth foam gets on the keyboard and they're forced to stop typing.
