The Best of Artopia 2011

1 of 20

Models Brittany Hartman, Morgan and Ayako pose in dresses created from Seattle Weekly newspapers as part of a design competition.

People were lined up down the street to get into Artopia last night, and man, did it turn out to be quite the party! Between Ian Toms' and Justin Lytle's tongue-in-cheek beer pong game, the acrobatic stunts of a Teatro Zinzanni aerial performer, and fire dancing by Womanipura, not to mention the free drinks, the crowd stayed rowdy and loose throughout the night. It was art without the pretentious attitudes, set to a nightclub vibe complete with live bands and dancing. Thank you to everyone who came! Although it may have been hard to get up this morning, it was worth it! Photos by Catherine Anstett
