After watching snow fall only to be washed away by rain for nearly a month, Snoqualmie Pass sat relatively barren. As other higher, Washington mountains opened, the pass sat empty, lifts motionless. Finally after a week of lowered temperatures and snow levels, including a big 14 inch dump on Thursday, The Summit at Snoqualmie was finally able to open to the public. Here's a look into opening day at Seattle's closest ski area.
