Guinness World Record: Red, White and Dead Zombie Walk 2011
This year, the living dead of the Red White and Dead Zombie Walk were on a mission: smash the Guinness World Record for most zombie walkers -stolen from them this past October by New Jersey zombies. On Saturday, July 2, 4,522 moaning, groaning, bloody bodies drug themselves through Fremont and reclaimed their record, beating New Jersey's 4,093 walkers. This year, with two beer gardens, food trucks, bands, and a makeup artist on hand to make sure everyone was adequately pale and bloody, there was no way the record was staying on the East Coast.
