The 2012 St. Patrick's Day Dash is a 3.6 mile jaunt around Seattle Center on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday March 17th. The kids start first with the Leprechaun Lap at 8:00 a.m. 15,000 green-clad, Irish wannabes dash down Mercer Street with the Green Wave Start at 8:30am.

Event festivities include start line appearances by dignitaries and parading bagpipers. Everyone gathers after the Dash in Seattle Center for the Post Dash Bash which features live music, costume contest, sponsor booths, great giveaways, awards ceremony and a beer garden.

Proceeds from the St. Patrick's Day Dash benefit the Detlef Schrempf Foundation in support of Seattle Children's Autism Center, Camp Fire USA Puget Sound Council, Rise n' Shine and The Healing Center. Team up with your friends and co-workers to support these important northwest children's charities.
