4th of July Money Drop
On July 4, the activist group #MicCheckWallSt threw 5,000 $1 bills off the top of a downtown building. Each bill was printed with the message “Money as Speech Silences Us All. End Citizens United." In addition to drawing attention to the issue ironically by making a statement about money as speech by using money as speech, the money will naturally go back into circulation, spreading the message in perpetuity.
