Budo Extracts Emotion From Kris Orlowski and Andrew Joslyn's "All My People", and Makes the Thing Pop

As Gwendolyn mentioned back in September, Kris Orlowski & Andrew Joslyn's Pieces We Are EP was a bit mundane in places, but had bright spots. "All My People" was one of the songs that had potential, but who's arrangement made the build up a bit unfulfilling. Enter: local producer Budo--beat-maker for Rhymesayers emcee Grieves; former full-time Macklemore collaborator; and maker of beautiful, mainly instrumental music. Budo, as they (I) say, is the man. The three musicians have just released a remix of "All My People" on Soundcloud, in which Budo plays with the presentation, adds electronic elements and an electric guitar, and makes the thing pop off the page. He plays up the emotion by adding layers to the buildup--and crashing resolution--as opposed to the sing-along sincerity (it's still there, just not as prevalent in the mix this time), and predictable path of the original. Give the remix a listen below, followed by the original.
