On his sixth full-length kid's album, POTUSA micro-song mastermind Chris Ballew enlists the help of friends like Rachel Flotard and John Richards for another set of catchy, cheery children's tunes. They're entomological as ever, with fun-to-say words like "worms" and "pupa," but "The Stump Hotel" and "Cricket The King" are fine pop songs in their own right.
Caspar Babypants plays the Mount Baker Community Club this Saturday (12/8) as part of the Kindiependent Kids Rock Series with The Board of Education, Johnny Bregar, the Not-Its!, Recess Monkey, and The Harmonica Pocket. Tickets here.
Check out Babypants' latest video, "Take Me To The City Dump," in honor of Seattle's beloved clown, J.P. Patches.
