Town rap pros the Physics recently released a new video for "So Funky", the groove-forward opening jam from their superb late summer LP Tomorrow People, and with it, director Jon Jon Augustavo was able to capture the late-night-with-friends side of the group's essence (the other being their sunny-day-beer-cruise side) perfectly. The nasty electric bass line, Thig Nat's rhymes, and various other musical accoutrements speak for themselves, but the slow-motion party shots, beer-sipping montages, and a real-life Henderson cut-out are new, welcome additions to the "So Funky" experience. Filmed on location at Hilliard's Brewery in Ballard, the crew looks entirely at home.
