The Neptune is kicking off a stacked week of shows tonight with L.A.'s Flying Lotus (check out Todd Hamm's preview) and continuing on with headliners Mayer Hawthorne, Sera Cahoone, Dan Deacon, and, on Thursday, October 25, the Oklahoma outfit Other Lives. The quintet recently released their Mind the Gap EP and are touring with 4AD's newest signee, and one of my favorite discoveries of the year, Copenhagen's Indians.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $15, but we're giving a pair away for free right now.

To snag the tickets, email me at ethompson@seattleweekly.com by tomorrow, Wednesday, October 24 at noon. You'll be entered in a drawing to win, and the winner will be notified by tomorrow afternoon.

Here's Other Lives performing "Tamer Animal" in the KEXP studios a year ago:

And here's a gorgeous video of Indians performing three songs--"I Am Haunted," "Magic Kids," and "New"--for a 4AD Session:
