Deep Time, the Austin duo of singer/guitarist Jennifer Moore and drummer Adam Jones formerly known as YellowFever, are on an extensive summer tour of the U.S. in support of their new self-titled album, released just this week. (Eric Grandy reviewed the record in this month's issue of Reverb Monthly and complimented its "cool-headed yet fractured pop sound, led by Jennifer Moore's rich, seriously enthralling vocal jumps.") The tour includes three Washington shows--it is, after all, the home of their record label--happening this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Tomorrow, July 14, they'll play an all-ages show at Cairo with Megabog and Crying Shade.
On Sunday, July 15, they'll be in Olympia playing the Northern at 8 p.m.
On Monday, July 16, they'll be back in Seattle playing Hollow Earth Radio at 8 p.m.
Check out at least one. As a preview, here's the band's video for "Clouds," directed by Hannah Lew of Grass Widow:
PS. If you really can't make it to one of these shows, Deep Time will be back in Seattle again on August 3 opening for Mynabirds at the Barboza.
