City Arts Fest Announces Lineup, and It's Nothing You Haven't Seen Before

City Arts Festival announced its lineup today, and other than exceptional headliners David Byrne and St. Vincent, who were announced in June, it's nothing those who attended either Bumbershoot 2011, Slack Fest, or this past weekend's Capitol Hill Block Party haven't seen before. All three fests seem to be focusing more on local acts, which is an interesting choice given that those same bands can be seen any night of the week around town (or for $15 at Reverb Fest.) I already noticed the overlap between last year's Bumbershoot (Dam-Funk, Phantogram, Beat Connection, Oh Sees, Allen Stone) and this year's Block Party. I didn't expect City Arts to jump on the same bandwagon.

See the City Arts lineup in full after the jump. Names in bold played either last year's Bumbershoot or Block Party.
