I know that we have something of an aversion to the term "guilty pleasures" here at Reverb. As Erin will tell you in Nice Hits! a girl (or, boy) should just like what they like. But I can't shake the shame in admitting that ever since yesterday morning, I've been jonesing for the Kid Rock on Sheryl Crow ear-porn that is 2002's "Picture."
It all started yesterday, when my wife was giving me a ride to the ferry. She been rockin' the Warm 106.9. The station's hit-whoring ways means they have no problem following up Michael Jackson with Kid Rock. I only got halfway through "Picture" before having to split, but I'll be damned if that wasn't the first song I cued up when I got comfy on the ferry.
But I didn't stop there. I dug a little deeper into the Bullgod's catalog, and found a little chestnut, "Collide," from 2010's Born Free that features another duet with Crow, and none other than Bog Seger on the piano. It doesn't pack the same shameless emotional punch as "Picture," but, you know, when you're hurtin' for some a Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow/Bob Seger menage a trois, it'll do. Hear it for yourself after the jump.
