Live Nation is introducing a pair of festivals to the Northwest roster. And we're all for more options for warm summer weekends (Sasquatch! is soooo cooooold) at the Gorge. So, here goes:
Paradiso, June 23: Live Nation brass are dubbing this one the "largest Electronic music event ever staged in the Pacific Northwest." Avicii and Afrojack headline the event which promises 12 hours of electronic music on three stages. Tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via LiveNation.com.
The Watershed Music Festival, August 3 to 5: All we know about this guy is that it claims it will be "The Northwest's Premier Country Music Festival," and that we'll find out who's playing in about 25 days (you can follow along the countdown at watershedfest.com.
