Seattle's Noise for the Needy is looking for bands--the local concert series, now in its 8th year, will as usual take place in June across a variety of venues, big and small, across the city.

NFTN won't announce this year's beneficiary until another month or so (last year they raised $23,000 for Real Change), but they're kicking off 2012's festivities on March 23 at the Sunset Tavern, with a benefit show featuring veteran songwriter Dan Bern, Blacknite Crash, Watch It Sparkle, Michael Jaworski, and more.

That's just one show to start things off, though--NFTN is officially on the lookout for bands to play the June concert series. This year, NFTN has a new booker, Greg Garcia, whom we all know as the highly capable booker at the Tractor Tavern. If you're interested in playing the festival this year, contact Garcia at booking@noisefortheneedy.org.
