Want to Hear Seapony's New Songs? Check Out Their Show at the Vera Project This Saturday with Brave Irene & Generifus"/>
On November 22, Hardly Art will release Seapony's follow-up to their May full-length, Go With Me--the 7-inch single "Sailing" b/w "I Saw You." The two sides of this single showcase two sides of Seapony--"Sailing" is soft, pretty, and wondrously fragile; "I Saw You" ratchets things up--it's still nice and gentle, but has just a bit more spunk and breeze.

"Sailing" is available for stream; "I Saw You" isn't, yet--but there is an opportunity to hear that new song this very weekend. This Saturday, November 5, Seapony will be sharing the Vera Project stage (and likely playing their brand-new songs) with one of their biggest influences--Brave Irene, which features Rose Melberg, who once played in the late 90s K Records-signed The Softies, a band that Seapony frequently cites as an inspiration for their own music. (Melberg was also a part of K Recs' girl-pop quartet Tiger Trap). Olympia's Generifus will open the show.
