Husky Pride: Jake One, Geologic, Sol and Preach Drop "Dawgs in the House" Single

U-Dub in this Bitch.
Today is the University of Washington's 150th birthday and some musically-inclined alumni/fans have released a dope rap song in honor of the occaison. Jake One, Geologic, Sol and Preach (former UW football player Gregory Christine) combined forces for "Dawgs in the House," a track that celebrates all things purple and gold.

The Jake One production is smooth, with a stuttering keyboard loop and some well-placed horns -- a break that, as Geo raps, makes "Montlake shake."

This isn't the first time the Blue Scholars emcee has given props to his alma mater (on "Fin" the closing track from this year's Cinematroplis, he playfully croons "U-Dub in this bitch,") and his verse on this occaison is all about unabashed Husky pride, particularly on the football field. Geo quips that the song is "soundtrack music to your end-zone dance."

If that's the case, somebody better get UW running back Chris Polk on iTunes before tomorrow's rivalry game against Oregon.
