When I spoke with Fremont resident/bro-house icon Dave Matthews last year, I asked him if there were any local artists he was taking a shining to. The first was the Head and the Heart, who opened for Matthews and Tim Reynolds at McCaw Hall last October. And the other was Lindsay Fuller. "I think she's amazing," he said.

Now, thanks to Matthews, the smokey-voiced singer has been picked up by his label, ATO, who will put out her new record, You, Anniversary, early next year. In the meantime, she plays the Tractor on Dec. 10 with Lazy Susan and Eugene Wendell & The Demon Rind.

Tracks from You, Anniversary have yet to be released, but you can get a taste of her last record, The Last Light I See, after the jump.
