Decibel Festival starts today! Seattle Weekly has a full guide to the fest--with help from local dB artists Beat Connection, Ill Cosby, Jon McMillion, Kid Hops, Suntzu Sound, Truckasauras, and WD4D. Not all of these local artists' picks could fit in print, though, so we've been putting the extras up here on Reverb the past week.

Today, eclectic selector Kid Hops of KEXP and TRUST shares some more of his picks for the fest:

"Wednesday Sept 28: For me, Wednesday night is all about the Drum & Bass showcase. Headlining is Total Science, true pioneers in the global Drum & Bass movement. They can boast countless releases on every drum & bass label worth mentioning. LA DJ & producer Hive shares the bill with Seattle junglists Demo, Grym, John Glist, and me, Kid Hops. Sonic MC hosts the event. A proper night of dubplates, basslines, & rewinds. Get ready to get rowdy!"

"Friday, Sept 30: TRUST Showcase: Kyle Hall (Detroit), Hanssen, Kid Hops vs. SunTzu Sound - Baltic Room. Usually a monthly thing, TRUST touches down for a second time in September as part of the Decibel Festival. TRUST residents SunTzu Sound & I warm up the dance floor, hometown hero Hanssen (one half of Jacob London) debuts his solo live set, and Detroit's 20-year-old Kyle Hall stops by. Pure good vibes all night long. Guaranteed. It's what we do."

    More after the jump...

"Also Friday night: Martyn @ Neumos - his new album on Brainfeeder is gonna turn heads...again! Breakage @ Showbox at the Market - one of my perennial favorites, Breakage effortlessly mashes tough breaks, ragga chatting, and big bubbling basslines. I love his tunes, no matter the tempo! Miracles Club @ The Woods - a killer Portland outfit making moves. Nice disco vibes."

"Saturday Oct 1: I'm up bright & early Saturday to host Positive Vibrations on KEXP 90.3fm. After that, and hopefully a quick nap, Saturday sees me dashing around the city, checking these: Ill Cosby @ DB In the Park - Seattleite Ill Cosby, leader of the Car Crash Set, performs live in Volunteer Park. Bumpin' polyrhythmic sounds to take you through the afternoon. 2pm Volunteer Park. Deniz Kurtel @ Deep Foundations - I really like Deniz's records, and I look forward to hearing her perform. She's a leading light of the next generation of deep & emotive dance music producers. Hear her at Neumos ~10pm.

"Sunday Oct 2: dBridge, Kid Hops vs. Quadrant, WD4D vs. Introcut - Baltic Room. A late, largely un-heralded addition to the DB Fest line-up, and quite possibly my favorite of this year's offerings. dBridge is a master of his craft, and I am thrilled he's visiting Seattle. A veteran drum & bass producer, turned sonic alchemist, dBridge is at the helm of the Autonomic movement, and is most closely associated with Metalheadz and his own Exit and Autonomic labels. He effortlessly shifts from futuristic drum & bass to half-time skeletal rhythms - all awash in multi-layered atmospheres. Expect cinematic bass music of the highest order, all night long. Also on Sunday: Mad Professor and Twilight Dub Circus, both at Neumos."
